A Mississippi woman was arrested and jailed after she was convicted for having intercourse with a dog.

Denise Frazier, a 21-year-old woman, was convicted of unnatural intercourse and handed a four-year prison sentence on January 24. This was a result of disturbing videos that captured her engaging in the appalling behavior.

A judge also ordered her to serve five years of probation and pay $2,615.51 in fines.

Fraizer was arrested in Hattiesburg in 2024 with one count of attempted unnatural intercourse and one count of unnatural intercourse.

Three separate dogs appeared in multiple videos, according to WJTV. They were rescued and received veterinary care.

‘This sentencing is a step toward justice, but the fight isn’t over – we are still pushing for full accountability in Jones County, where Frazier’s abuse first came to light,’ said Doll Stanley, In Defense of Animals’ Justice for Animals Senior Campaigner, the outlet reported.

Fraizer was previously arrested in another Mississippi county in 2023 for the same offence at age 19.

She was caught on video that spread around on Snapchat depicting her engaging in unnatural intercourse with a male canine.

A concerned resident flagged the video from February to local authorities and she was eventually arrested on aggravated cruelty charges.

‘In my 17 years in law enforcement, this is one of the most disturbing cases that I’ve ever investigated,’ said Sergeant JD Carter of the Jones County Sheriff’s Department said at the time.

‘JCSD is in possession of several videos that are so graphic that we are not at liberty to release them or even discuss the particular content,’ he added. ‘The investigation into this case is far from over.’

Frazier did admit that it was her engaging in intercourse with an animal on the video, it has been claimed.

Carter says that Frazier’s alibi was that she was forced into committing the heinous acts but says there’s no evidence of that though they are investigating.

She allegedly told police she was ‘threatened to do it’ and also that ‘people pay [her]’ for the videos, according to the Laurel Leader-Call.

‘We’ve never dealt with this particular type of case before,’ Carter said. ‘There are really no true words to describe it other than disgusting.

‘So, right now, we’re still in that initial phase, right past the first part of it. But, we’re still going to look into it to see if there’s more.’

He says there may be more videos filmed in other counties. They have alerted nearby sheriff’s departments.

The dogs were seized from the residence she was arrested at and taken to a local animal hospital.

One of the dogs is a German shepherd that Frazier referred to as a ‘service dog.’
