Officer Marcus Hardison was set to be released from the hospital Thursday after being shot at an Easter event.

LAKE CITY, Fla. — The Lake City Police Department says the officer who was shot at an Easter celebration Sunday has been released from the hospital.

Officer Marcus Hardison, who is a K-9 handler, was shot in the right arm when a fight broke out at the event. His K-9 was uninjured.

He was taken to a nearby trauma center. LCPD told First Coast News he had surgery on that arm Monday and was recovering. He was scheduled to go home at 4 p.m.

The shooter has not been caught at this time. Police released a video of the incident Thursday, asking for help identifying a suspect, though it is unclear if they are the shooter. The video and photo are embedded at the bottom of this story; if you know anything, call 386-752-4343.

Three people were taken into custody Sunday for interviews. Chief of Police Gerald Butler said they were arrested for unrelated charges.
