Police identified the victims as 19-year-old Rubisnney Giraldo-Mina and 41-year-old Larry Baldwin Sr.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An 18-year-old man is facing murder charges in connection with a deadly double shooting early Saturday at a shopping complex on Baymeadows Road, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Police responded around 3:30 a.m. to the 9500 block of Baymeadows Road regarding a reported shooting. Officers found two men identified as 19-year-old Rubisnney Giraldo-Mina and 41-year-old Larry Baldwin Sr. dead on the scene from gunshot wounds.
Police said officers located and detained 18-year-old Larry Baldwin Jr. at the scene.
Homicide detectives interviewed Baldwin Jr. and police said their investigation found he shot the two victims during an argument.
Baldwin Jr. was arrested Saturday afternoon and is now being held in the Duval County Jail on two murder charges.
Police did not say whether the suspect and victim are related.
JSO said it will work closely with the State Attorney’s Office as the case proceeds.
