() Singer D4vd’s home was thoroughly searched by the Los Angeles Police Department’s homicide unit late Wednesday after a 15-year-old’s body was found decomposing in his Tesla.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 15, was identified hours earlier as the victim whose remains were discovered inside the Tesla registered to the singer at a Hollywood tow yard Sept. 8.

TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere told “Banfield” that police swooped on the house D4vd had been staying at Wednesday night in search of anything resembling “blood evidence.”

“They were checking drains to see if there’s any blood evidence or blood or tissue that was in the drains there,” he said. “So they did a scouring of this house, looking for any evidence.”

Police told TMZ that the home was “about a block, block and a half” from where D4vd’s Tesla was parked before it was towed.

“We know that Tesla is his,” Latibeaudiere said. “The thing that’s still not clear is who was actually driving the Tesla when the body was placed in the car? Who parked it where it was eventually found and impounded? Those are the dots that still need to be connected here.”

Leaked D4vd song mentions Celeste

D4vd was on tour when he was contacted by police, who told him a decomposing body was found in his car.

While police haven’t officially linked D4vd and the victim, a leaked D4vd song mentions Celeste multiple times, Latibeaudiere said.

The track, which leaked on Soundcloud in December 2023, was titled “Celeste_Demo unfin.”

The singer mentions “Celeste” twice in the song, saying “Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes // I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I’m obsessed.”

The next verse D4vd can be heard saying, “Oh, Celeste / Afraid you’ll only love me when undressed / But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress / Missing you so much makes me depressed / But I digress, because.”

“What is clear is that they spent a lot of time together,” Latibeaudiere said based on photos TMZ dug up of them together.

Latibeaudiere said no videos or photos showing Hernandez in the house have been uncovered. However, a livestream resurfaced of D4vd and Hernandez talking to the singer’s fans, along with a photo of the two out at an event somewhere in Los Angeles from October 2023.

D4vd and victim had matching tattoos

D4vd and Hernandez also had the same tattoo, “Shhh…” written on their right index finger. A medical examiner’s report noted the tattoo on Hernandez.

Photos of D4vd show him with a matching tattoo on his finger. Latibeaudiere said TMZ spoke with Hernandez’s mother about Celeste’s tattoo, which was in red ink.

The cause of Hernandez’s death has been listed as deferred while the investigation continues.
