() President Trump is known for having many security measures when he is out and about. After all, he is the leader of the free world.
But during Trump’s five-day trip to Scotland, a new security detail was part of Trump’s entourage: an armored golf cart.
A Trump administration official confirmed to that the armored golf cart is part of the presidential fleet of specialty vehicles.
“The U.S. Secret Service employs a variety of tools and resources to safeguard our protectees,” said a Secret Service spokesperson. “In order to maintain operational security, the Secret Service does not discuss the specific means and methods used to conduct our protective operations.”

While in Scotland, Trump was able to secure a trade deal with the European Union. In the deal, the EU has agreed to purchase $750 billion in energy and invest an additional $600 billion into the U.S. along with purchasing an undetermined amount of military equipment and will open its countries to some “zero for zero tariffs.”
“We are agreeing that the tariff, straight across for automobiles and everything else, will be a straight-across tariff of 15%,” said Trump.
The introduction of the armored golf cart also comes just over a year since Trump survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
