Stuart Smith — known as Syko Stu — is reportedly “fine and recovering” as of Saturday night after he was violently attacked by Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
According to TMZ’s report on Sunday, the LAPD is currently investigating the incident that occurred at a professional wrestling event in Los Angeles involving Raja Jackson.
Rampage Jackson had also indicated that Smith had been doing well in a statement he released following the incident involving his son.
“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been informed that the wrestler (Stuart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable,” Quinton “Rampage” Jackson stated.

The violent incident happened at a private wrestling event at KnokX Pro Academy when Raja Jackson jumped into the ring, body-slammed Smith and then punched him more than 20 times as he lay on the ring mat.
Other wrestlers had to jump into the ring to pull Jackson off of Smith, all of which was captured on video.
Prior to the moment in the ring, the two men appeared to get into an altercation outside the venue, where Smith had slammed a beer on Jackson’s head — seeming to think that he was setting up a storyline for the show, but the two were later seen making amends, a livestream showed.
KnokX Pro called Jackson’s actions “reprehensible” and said the pummeling of Smith was a “selfish, irresponsible act of violence.”
Raja Jackson has not commented publicly on the incident.
Rampage Jackson has condemned his son’s actions.
“I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation,” he said.
