Before slathering on your moisturizer, you might want to take a second to check the jar. 

First Aid Beauty has recently recalled over 2,700 containers of its popular Ultra Repair Cream in Coconut Vanilla scent. The recall was initiated as a batch that was supposed to be held for further testing was mistakenly put up for sale to consumers.

The Food and Drug Administration has categorized this recall as a high-risk one, cautioning that using the affected product could lead to temporary or reversible adverse health effects.

The Ultra Repair Cream, beloved by many, comes with a price tag of $38 at Sephora. It has garnered a strong following, thanks to positive reviews on TikTok and endorsements from skincare influencers such as celebrity makeup artist Jill Powell, who described it as “a moisture boost for your skin.”

Fans, including The Post’s beauty gurus, swear by the Ultra Repair Cream for its ability to provide instant relief for dry, distressed skin and eczema. First Aid Beauty also promotes it as a solution for smoothing fine lines, reducing redness, and strengthening the skin barrier.

Only packages with the lot numbers 24D44 and 24D45 with the expiration dates of April 10 and 11, 2026, are being recalled; however, they were distributed across the US in retail stores and online. 

According to the FDA, anyone who has purchased a recalled package should stop using it immediately. 

It isn’t clear whether there have been any reported adverse effects.
