Rachel Zoe filed for divorce from her husband Rodger Berman this Monday after more than 33 years together and 26 years of marriage.
Despite only announcing their separation last September, new legal documents obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that the official date of separation is listed as June 27, 2024.
The former pair are parents to two sons, Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11. When Rachel publicly shared their split last year, she released a statement emphasizing: ‘Our number one priority has been and will always be our children.’
Rachel’s divorce paperwork, filed in Los Angeles, mentions ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason and includes a request to revert to her maiden name.
During their marriage, the pair frequently worked together and Rodger was prominently featured on his wife’s Bravo reality show The Rachel Zoe Project.
Last month it emerged Rachel has rejoined the network where she became a star, with her casting as one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

This January, four months after Rachel revealed they had gone their separate ways, Rodger was glimpsed in Los Angeles with an arm wrapped around a mystery blonde.
Rachel announced the split with a statement saying: ‘After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage.’
She added that she and her estranged husband were ‘incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together. Our number one priority has been and will always be our children.’
Rachel declared she and Rodger were ‘committed to coparent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share. We ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this new chapter.’
In addition to appearing with her on reality TV, Rodger, a former investment banker, is a co-founder and fellow CEO of his wife’s company Rachel Zoe, Inc.
‘I’m telling you, I am nothing without him,’ she told the Guardian in 2006. ‘He keeps me sane.’
An insider recently alleged that Rachel’s decision to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was partly motivated by the collapse of her marriage.
‘The money has been tighter for them for a while. It’s complicated because essentially, their entire lives are intertwined,’ the source claimed to The US Sun.
‘He runs all her businesses so there is no separation of work and home life. And there is no separation of his work and hers,’ the insider added.

The former couple share two sons, Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11, whom they are pictured with in March 2024, three months before their listed date of separation

‘They built this together, which is a big reason she joined RHOBH. She wanted to venture out and do something that didn’t involve him. This will be her first big job post-divorce that does not involve him, it will be hers.’
The exes got together as college sweethearts in the early 1990s, when they were both students at George Washington University.
‘She was 19, and I was 22. She was a restaurant hostess, and I was working as a waiter in Washington, D.C., where we both attended college,’ Rodger recalled in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2011.
‘I vividly remember the first time I saw her — wearing a tight black mini dress, high-heeled pumps, stick-straight hair, and big red lips covered in M.A.C. Chili lipstick.’
They tied the knot in Valentine’s Day 1998 and he was by her side as she rose to become one of the most sought-after stylists in Hollywood.
By the 2000s, she boasted a client list of top-flight names like Keira Knightley, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway and Nicole Richie.
Her notoriety in the business grew to the point that she landed a hit realty show about her career, The Rachel Zoe Project, which aired on Bravo from 2008 to 2013.
