Swift’s 12th studio album arrives at midnight and features 12 new tracks.
WASHINGTON — Swifties, get ready! Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album is finally here.
Swift announced the project, “The Life of a Showgirl,” in August while appearing as a special guest on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.
“This album is really about what was going on in my life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant,” Swift said in the interview. “I’m so proud of it. It just comes from the most infectiously, joyful, wild dramatic place I was in my life.”
Max Martin and Shellback are the credited producers, leaving a notable absence of her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.
