Meghan Markle’s ‘very handsy’ PDA with Prince Harry has rubbed off on Kate Middleton, Prince William: report

Meghan Markle’s physical displays of affection toward her husband, Prince Harry, has reportedly rubbed off on Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“She likes to rub Prince Harry’s back a lot — she’s got her hand on his back a lot,” Tang continued. “I think that’s just how she is with him. I think she’s genuinely in love.”

“I think with Harry and Meghan being in the royal family for those few years, it’s sort of relaxed a lot of the other members,” he added. “Because every now and again you see Kate and William, not hold hands, but like a hand on the back or on the knee.”

Tang — who has been photographing Markle, 43, and Harry, 40, since before their 2018 wedding — also told the outlet that he is very fond of snapping the couple’s loved-up moments.

“I always enjoy photographing them. They photograph really well, genuine,” the London-based photographer gushed, noting that they’re “very demonstrative.”

“I’ve photographed them from the start, so it’s actually nice just to photograph them along their journey.”

The new report comes just weeks after the Duchess of Sussex and Harry attended the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games 2025 and shared a passionate kiss.

Markle was seen holding her spouse’s face in her hands at the time as he leaned in for a sweet smooch. They were also photographed holding hands throughout the ceremony.

Later that month, on Valentine’s Day, Markle took to her new Instagram account to share a kissing photo with Harry.

“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games,” she penned in the caption of the intimate photo.

“Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you. #lovewins As ever, M.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales seemingly took a page out of Harry and Markle’s book by sharing a similar passionate photo for the romantic holiday.

“❤️,” a rare candid photo of William, 42, giving Middleton, 43, a kiss on the cheek during an outdoor walk was captioned.

Earlier this month, however, several palace insiders spoke to British journalist Tom Quinn for a piece published in the London Times. They claimed William actually felt “uncomfortable” with Markle’s touchy-feely nature when she and the “Spare” author still lived in the UK.

Markle’s “tactile manner” reportedly made William and his father, King Charles III, “flinch” at times, palace insiders alleged. The As Ever founder has been living in Montecito, Calif., with Harry and their two kids — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet — since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020.
