Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, has bravely come forward to share her harrowing experience of years-long abuse at the hands of her husband. Last week, concerns were raised about her bruised appearance, which she initially attributed to a bus accident. However, a new report reveals the true extent of the abuse she endured.

Giuffre, who is 41 years old, resided in Perth, Australia with her husband Robert, with whom she shares three children. Sadly, the couple has decided to go separate ways after being married for 22 years, as reported by the BBC.

In a statement to People, Giuffre expressed her ordeal, stating, “I was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein who abused and trafficked me. But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband’s latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent.” Her courage in speaking out sheds light on the devastating impact of domestic violence.

“Again, I thank everyone for their support. I have faith that justice will prevail,” she concluded.

Robert Giuffre, a mixed martial arts expert, allegedly violated a family violence restraining order for an incident that occurred in Ocean Reef, near Pert, on Feb 2., the Independent reported citing a Western Australia courts’ spokesperson.

On Mar. 24, Giuffre took to Instagram to share that she had “four days to live” after a car accident in Perth involving a school bus resulted in traumatic body injuries and kidney failure.

“This year has been the worst start to a new year,” she wrote in a caption to the post that showed her heavily bruised face, adding, “I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.”

The driver of the school bus allegedly involved in the accident with Giuffre said the mother of three was exaggerating the severity of the incident when she claimed the bus was traveling at nearly 70 miles-per-hour at the time of the crash.

Ross Munns described the accident as a “minor” collision — further adding that he only interacted with an “elderly woman” and not with Giuffre directly, who was supposedly a passenger in the Toyota Highlander.

The school bus driver called police the next day and then informed the driver of the Toyota Highlander that he made an official report. That woman then informed Munns that a passenger in the car suffered a “black eye” during the accident.

A statement from the Giuffre family shed more light on her injuries initially attributed to the car crash.

“Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Virginia’s condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital,” the statement read.

Giuffre, 41, accused England’s Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her on three occasions when she was 17-years-old — claims the royal denied, despite settling out of court for $12 million.
