Katie Ginella is remaining in the hot seat in this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Previously a golf reporter, Ginella began her second season on Bravo entangled in a dispute with Emily Simpson and Tamra Judge. They accused her of sharing information with bloggers that negatively affected them. On top of this, Ginella also faced issues with Shannon Beador, one of her two allies, after Tamra Judge disclosed that Ginella had secretly recorded Beador having a meltdown during the cast promo shoot.
In an exclusive preview of the upcoming episode airing tomorrow night, Ginella and Beador confront each other for the first time since Beador discovered the betrayal. The meeting appears to be fraught with tension.
Beador shows no interest in rekindling a friendship with Ginella. She expresses this sentiment to her date, Phill Westbrooks, of Bravo’s Love Hotel, when he playfully tries to encourage her to sit and talk with her co-star.
“No, I do not want to sit over there! No!” she fumes.
However, that doesn’t stop Ginella from approaching Beador. As the other ladies slowly notice the two sitting down together, they wonder how the conversation is going to go.
“I’m hoping that it’s not gonna be bad,” returning star Gretchen Rossi says, to which Simpson replies, “Oh, it’s gonna be bad.”
Ginella begins their chat by profusely apologizing to Beador for recording her without her knowledge, which occurred around the same time Alexis Bellino and John Janssen claimed to have videos of the veteran Housewife from the night of her 2023 DUI.
“I am very, very, very, very sorry. I did not mean to hurt you in any way. I have no excuse,” Ginella says, explaining that she tried to give Beador “context” in the apology text she had previously sent.
But Beador quickly fires back, “No, you were giving me excuses. That is not an apology.”
All I could think about while I was watching this clip was: what does Phill think?! He might’ve spent a handful of time in Cabo with four Real Housewives stars, but is he ready to be fully integrated into the Bravo universe and all the drama that comes with it? We’re not sure, but it certainly looks like he’s living his best life, especially at that sushi bar!
See how it all unfolds when the new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
