Livvy Dunne seems to be settling comfortably into her debut acting role, as the former LSU gymnast was seen enjoying some playful moments with Brooks Nader on the set of the Baywatch reboot.
The duo, who are among the prominent new faces in the Baywatch revival, appeared to be in high spirits while filming on the beaches of Los Angeles this past Tuesday.
At 23, Dunne has shared that she underwent acting lessons before securing her significant part in the remake of the legendary ’90s TV series.
According to a report by Page Six, both Dunne and Nader participated in ‘ocean training’ at Venice Beach as a preparatory step before filming began.
The pair were spotted perfecting their iconic slow-motion runs into the surf and are reportedly collaborating with experienced lifeguards to master essential techniques for their characters.
‘They’re really excited to be working together,’ a source close to the production was quoted as saying about Dunne and Nader, who know each other from previous shoots with Sports Illustrated.

Dunne is playing a junior lifeguard in the new series while Nader is playing one of the lead characters.Â
The pair seemed to be having a great time together, laughing and joking away in the sunshine on Tuesday while learning the ropes.
Earlier in March, Dunne had revealed how excited she was to try and carve out an acting career.
‘It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time. I was interested in doing that at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you’re a student-athlete at school,’ she said.
‘And now that I’m done with school, I have more time to lean into the acting stuff and the creative side of things.
‘Whether it’s gymnastics or acting in a movie or a TV show, I just think watching all your hard work pay off, whether it’s an individual thing or a group thing, I think it’s so cool.’Â
Dunne’s time in LA comes while her baseball star boyfriend Paul Skenes is representing the United States in the World Baseball Classic, where he has enhanced his reputation as one of the finest pitchers in the game.

Skenes pitched brilliantly in USA’s semifinal victory over the Dominican Republic, a gripping 2-1 win where Dunne was cheering from the stands.
But his involvement in that game on Sunday night meant that Skenes was watching from the dugout as Nolan McLean took to the mound for Tuesday’s final against Venezuela. USA were beaten 3-2 on the night, the team’s formidable attack falling quiet.
Skenes is set to be the starting pitcher for his Pittsburgh Pirates team when they start the MLB season next Thursday against the Mets in New York.
Dunne will almost certainly be there again in the stands to support him.
In February, before the Super Bowl, she told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview that she wants to make it to all his games this season.
‘I’ll try to make all of his starts, that’s my goal this year,’ she said.Â
