The episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race will no longer be snatched, as of next month.
On Thursday, the increasingly popular show announced a return to their normal 90-minute episodes after fan backlash and even a petition which received thousands of signatures but some die-hards feel like it may be too little, too late.
The show has been at center of a bit of controversy as the series made the network switch to MTV and a new series called The Real Friends Of WeHo would be placed in between Drag Race and Untucked which meant shorter one-hour episodes.
The official Twitter for the Emmy Award winning reality competition show currently in season 15 posted the news, explaining: ‘Get ready, racers [racing flag emoji] #DragRace returns to 90-minute episodes starting Friday March 10 at 8/7c on @MTV [crown emoji]’
The news was met with polarizing reaction from the Drag Race faithful as some celebrated while others were not pleased it would take another months for the extended episodes.
