Rupert Grint and his longtime partner, actress Georgia Groome, have secretly welcomed their second child together.

The “Harry Potter” star, who played the loveable Ron Weasley in the film franchise, shared the delightful news on social media on Monday

“Secret Child Slightly Revealed,” Grint, 36, captioned a photo of their new baby, whose face partially appears in the precious photo.

“Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ï¸ A 10/10 baby (so far).”

Keeping the news of the pregnancy quiet doesn’t come as a shock, as Grint and his partner, the British actress whom he has been in a relationship with since 2011, prefer to keep their personal lives out of the spotlight.

Fans didn’t even know about their relationship until 2018 – seven years after they became an item.

There was a moment when a surprised fan tweeted, “I was today years old when I found out Georgia from [teen movie] ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’ has been dating Ron Weasley since 2011?”

Back in 2019, the couple set tongues wagging with rumors of a secret wedding after being seen sporting matching gold bands. However, a spokesperson for the actor promptly refuted these speculations.

However, their relationship was stronger than ever and in 2020 they announced their first pregnancy.

“Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time,” a rep said in a statement at the time.

It took six whole months before the notoriously private couple shared a photo of their little bundle of joy, with the actor low-key joining Instagram for the first time to share a first look at their daughter.

“Hey Instagram …. only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram!” he wrote in his very first post. “Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert.”

He has since given an insight into his life as a dad, telling Glamour in 2021 that he is “absolutely loving” his most important role to date, although he is “still kind of coming to terms with what being a dad is”.

“It’s so much fun. I feel like I’ve changed as a person for sure,” he revealed.

“It kind of happened overnight, lifestyle-wise. I stopped smoking straight away. I’ve started sleeping so much better – I used to be a horrific insomniac, now I’m sleeping.”
