Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will tour together for the first time since 2015.

WASHINGTON — Rock legends RUSH are returning to the stage for the first time in over a decade. The band has announced their “Fifty Something Tour” kicking off next summer.

The limited-run tour will feature multiple shows in seven cities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, beginning June 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and wrapping September 17 in Cleveland.

These performances, dubbed a “celebration of RUSH’s music, legacy and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart,” will include two unique sets each night, pulling from a catalog of 35 songs spanning RUSH’s iconic 50+ year career.

The 2026 dates mark Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson’s first time touring together since RUSH’s R40 farewell tour in 2015.

“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of RUSH alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil,” Lee said. “A lifetime’s worth of songs that we had put our cumulative hearts and souls into writing, recording and playing together onstage. And so, after all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we [expletive] miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music.”

Joining Lee and Lifeson on tour is acclaimed German drummer and composer Anika Nilles, who previously performed with Jeff Beck and brings her own impressive resume to the stage.

While Peart is “irreplaceable,” the band says Nilles, along with additional supporting musicians, “have been hard at work rehearsing and designing the kind of RUSH show you’ve grown accustomed to expect from us.”
