She leaves quite an impression.
Sabrina Carpenter made a glamorous appearance at the 2025 Grammys, gracing the red carpet in a stunning powder blue JW Anderson gown specially tailored for her. The outfit featured delicate feather details adorning the waist and hemline, adding a touch of elegance to her ensemble.
The real show-stopping element, however, was the jaw-dropping neckline-turned-necklace that descended down her back in glittering fashion.
Having already clinched the award for best pop solo performance for her chart-topping track “Espresso,” the singer opted for a sophisticated updo that showcased her iconic blonde locks. Complementing her hairstyle, Carpenter chose her signature doll-like makeup look, emphasizing her features with precision.
The singer accessorized with silver dangly earrings and a few rings as well as sky-high coordinating platform heels to complete the look.
While this marked Carpenter’s debut at the prestigious music awards ceremony, she had previously made appearances at various pre- and post-event celebrations. In a remarkable turn of events, the talented artist received an impressive six nominations across significant categories in 2025, solidifying her presence in the industry as she gears up for a highly-anticipated performance on the esteemed stage.
The Disney alum, 25, is up for best new artist against Benson Boone, Doechii, Khruangbin, Raye, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey and Teddy Swims.
Plus, her album “Short n’ Sweet” is nominated in the biggest category of the night, album of the year, alongside André 3000 (“New Blue Sun”), Beyoncé (“Cowboy Carter”), Billie Eilish (“Hit Me Hard and Soft”), Chappell Roan (“The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”), Charli XCX (“Brat”), Jacob Collier (“Djesse Vol. 4”) and Taylor Swift (“The Tortured Poets Department”).
And that’s not all; Carpenter is also up for best pop vocal album as well as song of the year and record of the year for “Please Please Please” and “Espresso,” respectively. Before the award show started, she was announced as the winner of best pop solo performance for “Espresso,” marking her first-ever Grammy.
The star shared her over-the-top reaction to her first nominations on Instagram, breaking down in tears when she got the news. “I’d be lying if i said i hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life so i am filled with gratitude,” she wrote, though she also poked fun at the best new artist nod as she released her first album in 2015.
Outside of her music career taking off in an enormous way, the actress has had a huge personal year, too. She had a public relationship — and breakup — with “Saltburn” actor Barry Keoghan, scored her own Netflix Christmas special and wrapped a hugely successful tour after opening for Taylor Swift on her own epic Eras Tour.
Plus, she’s been killing it on the red carpet, too, often rocking vintage Victoria’s Secret, Versace and she even wore a vintage Bob Mackie gown that was first worn by Madonna to the 2024 MTV VMAs.
