New documents released under Florida law show at least 10 Jacksonville city council members are millionaires.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Financial disclosure forms recently filed by Jacksonville city council members and other city public officials have revealed the net worth, income, assets and liabilities each have.
Under Florida law, all elected state and local public officials are required annually to file a financial disclosure form, as well as many appointed board members because “it enables the public to evaluate potential conflicts of interest, deters corruption, and increases public confidence in government.”
Here’s how much money each Jacksonville city council member makes in their public office role, as well as their net worth. The following also shows the income and net worth for other city officials like Mayor Donna Deegan and Sheriff T.K. Waters. Note that income figures are only from their roles as public officials, and don’t include income from other potential sources.
