Samson Nacua, the brother of star Rams receiver Puka Nacua, wasn’t saving the hard hits for the field this weekend.

Samson, a wide receiver for the Michigan Panthers in the United Football League, was involved in a heated exchange with a fan during a game in St. Louis. The incident escalated quickly when Samson slapped the fan across the face, while his teammate Adonis Alexander looked on and found it amusing.

The UFL announced it was investigating the incident as tensions boiled over after the Panthers lost to the Battlehawks, 32-27.

“The UFL is aware of the incident that took place last evening at the conclusion of the Michigan Panthers vs. St. Louis Battlehawks game in St. Louis. League officials are currently investigating the matter,” the league said in a statement.

Samson, 27, is the middle brother between 30-year-old Kai, a safety on the Michigan Panthers, and Puka, 23.

Samson was once on the rosters of the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts, but has since moved on to playing in the UFL, whose seasons begin in the spring.

He had three catches for 46 yards in Saturday’s loss.

Kai and Samson attended and graduated from BYU, with the latter transferring in from Utah.

Neither has played in a regular-season NFL game.

Youngest brother Puca has been a revelation in the NFL after being drafted by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, accumulating 2,476 yards in his first two seasons.
