() Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tells “On Balance with Leland Vittert” she’d be honored to serve in President Donald Trump’s second administration but hasn’t been contacted.

“I thought that there’d be a position in energy, in that department, because that’s my baby … but that hasn’t happened,” Palin said Friday.

She pointed to “gatekeepers” within the administration, telling : “It gets frustrating for those with a heart to serve.”

“I didn’t even get credentials to attend the GOP convention if you can believe it,” she added. “They’re tight, they’re tight.”

The former governor told that she’s the only living Republican to have run for vice president or president and support Trump who was not at the event.

Of his current administration, Palin said she thinks recent unforced errors from the administration show why some experience matters.

Particularly, experience in local government: “You learn, from the bottom on up, how important it is to be on the same sheet of music. And not to have blind loyalty.”

Palin predicts that, if Trump’s policy changes aren’t implemented in a timely manner, the administration might see some early turnover.

“If his agenda is not going to be ushered in per the vote of the people, that’s the wishes of the peoplethen I think they will regroup and maybe, already, change some persons,” Palin explained.
