Savannah Chrisley and convicted fraudster Jason Galanis married on July 14, more than three months before they publicly announced that they are expecting a child.
Marriage records confirmed the ceremony, according to People on Thursday. Chrisley, 29, and Galanis, 56, exchanged vows at Cayman Islands Baptist Church after dating for about a year, the publication reported.
Chrisley previously revealed on her podcast Tuesday that the couple became engaged in the Cayman Islands last December.
Galanis proposed with an oval-cut diamond ring he designed with Genovese Jewelers, a St. Louis-based jewelry company, according to the outlet.
On Tuesday, Chrisley announced that she is pregnant with her first child. At the time, she referred to the baby’s father only as “J.”
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Savannah Chrisley and Genovese Jewelers for additional comment.
Savannah Chrisley, 29, and convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, 56, married on July 14, more than three months before revealing that they are expecting a child.
Galanis was sentenced in September 2020 to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to orchestrating two financial fraud operations, including one that cost a Native American tribe and investors millions of dollars.
Galanis was identified by US Weekly as the man Chrisley had described as “J.” Federal authorities said he had previously been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to taking part in multiple fraudulent schemes.
He received the sentence in September 2020 after pleading guilty earlier that year to organizing two financial fraud operations. One of those schemes targeted a Native American tribe and investors for millions of dollars, according to federal authorities.
After Galanis’s identity became public Tuesday, Chrisley appeared to address the attention by posting a brief sonogram video on Instagram and writing that her baby is “innocent.”
Under the terms of his sentence, Galanis was ordered to forfeit more than $80 million, along with properties he owned in Los Angeles and New York. He was also ordered to pay more than $80 million in restitution.
Galanis was previously a business associate of Hunter Biden. While still in custody in March 2024, he testified before a Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden.
Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley, discussed the relationship Thursday during an appearance on the Dumb Blonde podcast.
“He’s 20 years older, and it was not something I embraced because, I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make,” Todd said. “It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter, and nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter.
“I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No, but I will tell you that he has treated her with the utmost respect.”
Savannah Chrisley announced Tuesday that she is expecting her first child with her partner, whom she had previously referred to as J.

In March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’s sentence, months before pardoning Todd and Julie Chrisley over their 2022 convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion.
Prosecutors had alleged that Todd and Julie Chrisley obtained millions of dollars in bank loans through fraudulent means.
The Chrisleys were also accused of hiding income to avoid paying taxes on it.
In May of last year, Trump said that the Chrisleys had been ‘given a pretty harsh treatment based on’ what he had heard.
Savannah, who endorsed Trump in a 2024 speech at the Republican National Convention, said Trump officials had ‘seen the corruption’ at play in her parents’ case.

‘I didn’t have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents,’ she said at the time.
Savannah spoke about her romance with Galanis and addressed their 27-year age gap on her podcast Unlocked.
She explained: ‘I have always said, “I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years.”
‘It’s just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I’m there. So yes, the age difference. So what?’ she said.
Chrisley declared that Galanis is her ‘best friend,’ and she said they share a mutual ‘love and respect’ and ‘do everything together.’
The Chrisley Knows Best star also spoke about their goals as a couple as they prepared to become parents.
‘We have so many dreams … together, we work together … we want to have life experiences with each other,’ Savannah said. ‘And I think that’s when you know you have the right person, when you don’t feel like you have to escape them at times.’
Savannah said on her podcast that she and Galanis have enjoyed a ‘dream relationship’ since they began dating in July of 2025.
‘Our relationship as a whole has been absolutely amazing,’ she said. ‘It has been the dream relationship that any woman could hope to be in. There hasn’t been drama and chaos and dysfunction. There has been absolutely none of that.’
