A former prison warden, who was caught on camera in a compromising situation with an inmate, has expressed deep regret and embarrassment over the incident that ultimately led to her own incarceration.

Linda De Sousa Abreu, a married mother and content creator on OnlyFans, gained notoriety after footage surfaced of her engaging in intimate activities with inmate Linton Weirich, 39, inside his cell at HMP Wandsworth in south London. The video captured her smiling broadly while he stood behind her.

Speaking to The Sun, Abreu confessed, “I regret everything I did. I’m incredibly embarrassed,” reflecting on the events following her release after serving five months of a 15-month sentence for misconduct in public office.

She acknowledged her misstep, stating, “I had sex with someone I shouldn’t have had sex with and engaged in an inappropriate relationship,” admitting to having communicated with Weirich via a contraband phone.

Previously, Abreu had spoken publicly on a UK television show about her enthusiasm for sex. Now, she is determined to change her path and prioritize her role as a mother.

“I’ve just been keeping a low-key life. I just want to get on with my life. I want to keep being a good mom to my child,” she said.

Personal trainer Weirich told the Sun how he and Abreu had sex “a few times” inside the Category B lockup before their encounter, which was recorded by fellow inmate known only as “Sharkie.”

“Linda knew it was being filmed but didn’t seem to care about it or her job,” he claimed.

He said the sex followed on from the warden constantly being “flirty” with him.

“It was obvious she liked me,” he said.

The romp went viral and Abreu was arrested at Heathrow airport after she tried to catch a flight to Madrid, having called her employers to say she was not returning to work.

Abreu tried to blame the romp on the prison being “understaffed,” but prosecutor Tetteh Turkson said she was “an enthusiastic participant who wrongly thought she would avoid responsibility.”

“This was a shocking breach of the public’s trust,” he said.
