CNN 'black sheep' Scott Jennings is branded 'a handsome devil' on air

Scott Jennings wowed liberal CNN with his ‘dapper’ tuxedo in an appearance before he went out to enjoy the festivities surrounding Donald Trump’s inauguration this weekend.

The conservative pundit – affectionately referred to as the ‘black sheep’ of the left-leaning network – was on for multiple segments to debate long-time Democrat strategist Paul Begala Saturday.

As the pair hashed it out with anchor Jessica Dean over Joe Biden’s legacy and Trump’s plan for mass deportations, both Dean and Begala made note of Jennings’ formalwear.

‘Scott, I want to get your thoughts on that but I just looked into the monitor and I saw you’re wearing a tuxedo, I want to get your thoughts on that later as well,’ Dean joked.

Begala chucked and quipped: ‘He’s a handsome devil!’

Jennings quickly retorted: ‘Emphasis on the devil.’

Viewers were just as enchanted with Jennings, with one writing on social media: ‘Looking good Scott roasting CNN in a tux.’

‘I love the tux,’ added another.

‘You need to be less attractive,’ wrote one more on X.

Jennings spent the evening greeting a line of fans at the Southern States Ball, as the entire weekend in Washington has been a MAGA paradise.

Rappers, billionaire tech titans, country music sensations and The Village People are set to make President-elect Trump’s second inauguration bigger and better than ever before.

The newly sworn-in president and first lady Melania Trump will attend three official balls – while there will be a flurry of other parties and events throughout inauguration weekend.

A big change from eight years ago is there are more musical acts willing to perform at Trump inaugural events – including Carrie Underwood, Gavin DeGraw, Rascal Flatts, Billy Ray Cyrus and Jason Aldean.

Snoop Dogg headlined on Friday night at the inaugural Crypto Ball while rapper Rick Ross also took the stage.

The tech titans are also taking over town – with Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and TikTok CEO Shou Chew all invited to attend.

The Village People – who perform MAGA classics YMCA and Macho Man – are going to be everywhere.

Trump has the group performing at his Sunday afternoon rally at the Capital One Arena, alongside Cyrus and MAGA mainstay Kid Rock.

They will then head to Turning Point USA’s big bash where DailyMail.com has learned that Conor McGregor will be joining other MAGA personalities including Megyn Kelly, Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, Alina Habba and Riley Gaines.

The Village People will also perform at the Liberty Ball – one of the three official balls – where Aldean is expected and a ‘surprise musical guest’ is being teased.

Victor Willis is the only original member of the Village People that performs with the group. The group now consists of Willis, Javier Perez, James Kwong, Nicholas Manelic, James Lee and James J.J. Lippold.

There will be some Hollywood in Washington over inaugural weekend.

The Creative Coalition, the nonpartisan arts advocacy group that also sent representatives to both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions last year will hold a Friday night dinner that benefits military groups.

The host committee includes Wings and Madam Secretary’s Tim Daly – the president of the group – his Wings co-star Steven Weber,  as well as Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris, Only Murders In the Building’s Richard Kind, Young Sheldon’s Iain Armitage, and The Chi’s Yolonda Ross.

While the Creative Coalition is nonpartisan, it’s unclear if there will be other MAGA-aligned celebrities in the audience on Monday.

A representative for Mel Gibson told DailyMail.com that he’s not attending. He recently appeared at an event for Gen. Michael Flynn’s group at Mar-a-Lago.

A publicist for actor Dennis Quaid – who’s a Trump supporter – said ‘oh, that’s a private decision,’ when asked if Reagan star would attend inauguration.

A number of state societies and conservative groups are also hosting galas.

One of the more colorful looks to be the Legacy of Freedom Ball, which is being put on by the Black Conservative Federation, with rapper Waka Flocka Flame and former NFL player Antonio Brown expected.

Waka Flocka Flame very publicly backed Trump ahead of the November election while Brown appeared at Trump’s Latrobe, Pennsylvania rally, as the NFL player previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Waka Flocka Flame is also performing at the Power 30 Awards VIP Reception and Inauguration Party Sunday night, which is being sponsored by TikTok – as Trump considers whether to sign an executive order to overrule the forthcoming ban-or-sale law.

That event will honor up-and-coming conservative voices including ‘Libs of TikTok,’ operated by Chaya Raichik, House in Habit’s Jessica Reed Kraus, Ben Shapiro, Gaines and others.

Even progressives will have a place to drown their sorrows.

The left-leaning restaurant chain Busboys and Poets is hosting a Peace Ball at D.C.’s Arena Stage, where members of ‘The Squad,’ including Reps. Ilham Omar, Rashida Tlaib and former Rep. Cori Bush are expected to attend.

Also the writer V, formerly Eve Ensler, and Alice Walker, as well as CODEPINK’s Medea Benjamin, who was kicked out of Trump’s Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth’s confirmation hearing this week, will be on hand.
