Police say that the man was already imprisoned for prior charges before being connected to the crime.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced on Sunday that a second arrest has been made in connection with a fatal April shooting on Jacksonville’s westside.

On April 15, 2025, JSO says that officers responded to a shooting on Ernest St. near McDuff Ave., where they found the victim, Christopher Cam, 33, with multiple gunshot wounds. Per JSO, the Medical Examiner’s Office deemed Cam’s death a homicide.

JSO says that the arrestee, Bradley Drew, 33, was already in jail for unrelated charges when detectives arrested him in connection with the murder. According to the JSO inmate portal, Drew was arrested and charged with grand theft in May 2025.

The first suspect, Brandon Engeloff, 32, was arrested in August 2025 after “months of reviewing evidence and examining details,” according to JSO.
