Shailene Woodley was seen walking close to her rumored girlfriend, Mexican actress Roberta Colindrez, in New York City on Sunday. 

33-year-old actress from Big Little Lies, Shailene Woodley, recently discussed her past relationship with 41-year-old NFL star Aaron Rodgers, describing it as ‘toxic’. She was spotted looking adorable in a black jacket and light wash jeans.

Her long blonde hair cascaded out from a bright orange beanie as she stuck close to Roberta’s side.

Roberta, 38, who hails from Monterrey, Mexico, wore all black and kept her dark hair down, revealing a prominent streak of grey. 

The two actresses are currently starring alongside each other in Cult Of Love on Broadway.

Shailene and the A League of Our Own star have reportedly been in a romance since Thanksgiving, but neither has confirmed the claims.

According to an observer who shared the information on the gossip blog Deux Moi, Shailene and her co-star Roberta Colindrez appeared to be more than just friends while enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at the Fraunces Tavern in New York City.

‘Honestly, they were super cute and definitely looked together,’ the source said. ‘They were making out all night!’

Woodley came out as bisexual in 2014. 

Shailene and Roberta’s on stage chemistry has also been the talk of the town since the premiere of Cult of Love.

In the play, semi-estranged siblings return to their childhood home for Christmas, with Shailene playing little sister Diane.

Shailene and Roberta are both part of an impressive ensemble cast that includes other talented actors like Zachary Quinto from American Horror Story, Barbara Ferreira from Euphoria, Rebecca Henderson, David Rasche, Molly Bernard, and many more.

Shailene previously dated NFL quarterback Aaron. The couple were engaged before ending things two years ago. 

In an interview with Outside magazine, Woodley admitted she avoids talking about him because the relationship still makes her emotional.

‘I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it,’ she said as tears began to fill her eyes, ‘always makes me cry.

‘It was not right. But it was beautiful,’ she added.

Woodley and Rodgers became engaged in 2021, just days after the world learned about their relationship.

They remained engaged for a year before splitting up in February 2022.

She called the period in which their split occurred difficult, though did not specifically say the separation was the reason for her sadness at the time.

‘I had a really awful, traumatic thing happen in early 2022,’ she said. ‘I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy,’ she explained.

Shailene said her empathy for ‘someone else’ kept her in a ‘toxic situation.’

‘Empathy,’ she added, ‘kind of kept me in this loop of feeling everything for everyone.’

‘I knew I was depressed when I looked at a tree and felt nothing,’ she continued, calling it ‘the lowest low of my life’.

Woodley’s best friend, stylist Kris Zero, was the one who helped her get out of her depression.

Zero would wake Woodley up every morning with loud music and helped keep her mind off the angst.

‘Sometimes I was so angry at her,’ Woodley said. ‘But then we’d go surf, and for ten minutes that day I thought life could be OK again.

‘Then the depression would come back and she’d go, “We’re volunteering at the horse ranch!” And we’d find a random f**king horse ranch, and we’d clean up horse s**t.’ 

‘We’d clean hooves and brush the horses, and for 20 minutes that day I thought life could be OK again.’

The depression began to dissolve after six months of the activities.

Last month, Rodgers revealed he has a new girlfriend in shock announcement on the Pat McAfee show.

The New York Jets quarterback told McAfee and the rest of the crew that he has a new girlfriend named Brittani, though he did not go into any further details on who she is or how they met.

He revealed that his new love interest is not on any social-media channels after joking that she probably doesn’t watch McAfee’s show despite being a fan of the ESPN host.

‘It’s a good feeling, boys,’ the four-time NFL MVP added as Pat and the boys teased him about being ‘in love’ again. ‘Yes it is.’
