In a tragic incident at a daycare center in Donna, a female employee’s quick thinking and adherence to safety protocols potentially averted further tragedy. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office highlighted on Thursday that her actions were crucial during the deadly shooting that unfolded the day before.
As chaos erupted, this employee acted decisively, ensuring the safety of all five children present at the facility. Her prompt response and management of the situation ensured that none of the children were harmed, despite the terrifying circumstances.
The violence was instigated by 41-year-old Saul Esquivel, who forcibly entered Neni’s Childcare #2 through a window. In a horrific sequence of events, he pursued his wife, 26-year-old Nubia Bravo, outside the daycare, firing shots at her relentlessly.
