Shocking Arrest: Man Charged with Malice Murder in Tragic Death of 73-Year-Old Glynn County Resident

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a March 24 homicide in Glynn County, as confirmed by local police.

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities have apprehended Robert Arnold Williamson IV on charges related to the murder of a 73-year-old Glynn County resident. The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) announced that Williamson is now facing multiple charges, including felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and exploitation of an elder person.

Williamson remains in custody as of Friday, not only on these charges but also for unrelated offenses, according to police reports.

The case began on March 24, when investigators responded to a call and discovered the elderly man unresponsive and injured in his Abbott Avenue home. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

On March 24, investigators said they found a 73-year-old man unresponsive with injuries in his home on Abbott Avenue in Glynn County. He was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries.
