Delta passenger's obscene act caught on camera inside airport lounge: 'Savagery'

It was a pre-flight food fight.

A Delta Sky Club member was left outraged after observing another visitor to the airport lounge load up on mountains of free food for their trip.

The frustrated observer went to Reddit to express their anger towards a greedy hoarder, stating: “I witnessed this person, who seemed to have no manners, collecting at least 3 PLATES (yes, we use disposable ones) of food while he was still eating, and then stuffing them into his plastic grocery bag.”

He continued: “I wanted to get a pic of the situation, but it’s not cool to post people‘s pics. As if on cue, he got up to grab some…wait for it…bananas, so I quickly snapped a pic of his food haul. Dude has a penchant for St. Louis ribs and garlic chicken, not to mention sides and chocolate chip cookies.”

The accompanying snap shows the Delta flier’s food haul stored inside the extra-large shopping bag.

The Redditor’s post quickly sparked discussion among users, with many similarly shaming the flier for stockpiling the food freebies.

“I always grab something portable like a muffin and a couple waters, but that’s it,” one wrote. “Packing half the buffet is so not cool.”

“His seatmates are gonna hate him,” another chimed in.

A third claimed to have once witnessed even worse behavior in another Delta airport lounge.

“I’ve seen folks use the business privacy booths in the back as packing zones,” they explained. “Fill up a plate, disappear into an isolation booth, and transfer the food into a travel container. Maximizing the Sky Club experience.”

However, some Redditors lept to the defense of the Delta passenger’s proclivity for free food, saying the poster should have minded their own business.

“How does this concern you?” one asked. “I’m just trying to understand.”

Another offered advice on how to have a seamless airport experience, advising: “Just worry about yourself. Ignore others.”
