An investigation into a disappearance case in Washington has been reclassified as a murder investigation after human remains were located on a military installation. This development has resulted in the arrest of two individuals, one of whom is a currently serving member of the armed forces.
The inquiry was set in motion on June 12 when the Tacoma Police Department registered a missing person report for Caelick Bradley, a 28-year-old local whose last known sighting occurred on June 8, according to information from the Washington State Patrol.
Tacoma investigators uncovered evidence that someone unauthorized was making use of Bradley’s credit card. This led them to identify a suspect: Humberto Rodriguez Hernandez.
While being questioned by the authorities, Hernandez revealed information regarding a homicide that occurred on Addision Street SW in Lakewood, a neighboring city, as conveyed by officials from the Lakewood Police Department to News Media.

He subsequently led detectives to human remains in a publicly accessible training area on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) property near Spanaway, Washington.
Authorities said Hernandez also implicated a second suspect, Aydee Casado-Dominguez, who was later detained outside her home.

Both Hernandez and Casado-Dominguez have been charged with homicide and booked into the Pierce County Jail, LPD officials said.
In a statement provided to News Media, Joint Base Lewis-McChord confirmed the discovery of the remains and revealed that one of the two suspects taken into custody by the Tacoma Police Department is a service member currently assigned to JBLM.
The Army Criminal Investigation Division is now working closely with both the Tacoma and Lakewood police departments on the ongoing investigation.
While the remains were found following the investigation into Bradley’s disappearance, official identification and the cause of death are pending an examination by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The exact date of the homicide remains unclear.
