The incident unfolded as Omar, a Democrat representing Minnesota, was addressing the crowd with her criticism of ICE and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The disruption occurred when 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak allegedly rushed the stage, interrupting Omar’s speech. According to reports from Alpha News, he is believed to have used a syringe to spray the congresswoman with the liquid.

Authorities, including a hazmat team, have confirmed that the substance in question was indeed apple cider vinegar. This confirmation came after Kazmierczak was seen allegedly spraying the liquid onto Omar’s chest while shouting at her.
