In Pulaski County, Missouri, a woman faces charges after allegedly giving a cooler containing a deceased fetus to her romantic partner, authorities report.

Documents reveal that Makayla Haedt and the man had been involved in an intermittent relationship over several years. Haedt had informed him of her pregnancy, but he dismissed her claim, describing her as a “habitual liar” to the police.

On the afternoon of September 17 in Waynesville, two months following her pregnancy announcement, Haedt visited the man’s home, having previously messaged him about experiencing a miscarriage. The pair ran some errands before returning to the house, where they disposed of trash by burning it.
