JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Units are responding to a skydiving accident at the Palatka Airport on Monday.

Putnam County Fire Rescue Local says a skydiver landed on top of a hanger at the airport. Rescue 85 declared a trauma alert and requested a helicopter for patient transport.

This is the same airport that Skydive Palatka is based out of, though there has not been an official confirmation that the incident is related to that business.
