In a stroke of New Year’s luck, a lucky individual in St. Augustine, Florida, has snagged the $1,000 A Week For Life prize from the CASH4LIFE lottery, as announced by the Florida Lottery on New Year’s Eve. The winning ticket was purchased at a local Gate gas station, located at 1900 Mizell Road.

The fortunate winner matched all five numbers drawn on Tuesday night, securing the game’s second-highest prize. The winning numbers from the drawing were 3, 7, 25, 38, and 42, with a Cash Ball number of 1. To capture the game’s grand prize of $1,000 A Day For Life, a player must match all five numbers plus the Cash Ball.

Players trying their luck with CASH4LIFE face odds of 1 in 8 for any win, according to information available on the Florida Lottery’s website.

The winning numbers were 3-7-25-38-42, and the Cash Ball was 1. A player who matches all five numbers correctly, on top of getting the Cash Ball number right, wins CASH4LIFE’s jackpot prize of $1,000 A Day For Life.

The overall odds of winning in CASH4LIFE are 1:8, the Florida Lottery’s website states.
