Disney is set to add a touch of enchantment to your Christmas festivities with the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.”
The event will showcase performances from iconic locations such as Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko’Olina, Hawai’i.
The lineup of performers is star-studded, featuring Gwen Stefani, Lady A, Coco Jones, Mariah the Scientist, Bebe Rexha, Nicole Scherzinger, alongside “American Idol” victor Iam Tongi.
Gwen Stefani shared her excitement with On The Red Carpet, stating, “It is going to be incredible. I get to perform one of my favorite holiday classics, ‘White Christmas,’ right here at Disneyland. Growing up in Anaheim, being part of the holiday magic and sharing Christmas music is truly special.”
Hillary Scott of Lady A expressed her enthusiasm, “We are thrilled to be here; it’s the most magical place on earth, and we absolutely love Christmas.”
“I feel like a real-life princess being here and just to be a part of this Disney tradition, it’s a dream come true,” said Scherzinger.
Guiding viewers through the experience are Alfonso Ribeiro and Ginnifer Goodwin.
“It’s a great way to spend Christmas morning with your fans and be able to say thank you and give them a great, great parade because that parade is probably the best parade in the world,” Ribeiro exclaimed.
Goodwin got all in her feelings when she spotted her “Zootopia 2” character Judy Hopps in the parade.
“I’m mind blown. I’ve obviously seen Snow White in the parks since I was a little girl but now to see Judy Hopps there… and I’m always like, ‘that’s the real Judy Hopps!’ She’s actualized! There’s something other level about it,” she explained.
“Lilo and Stich” star Maia Kealoha serves as parade correspondent and her excitement level is, as she put it, “100.5 million five million five!”
“I will be watching the parade more and just having crazy fun with it,” she said.
Viewers will also be able to catch sneak peeks of Disney and Pixar’s “Hoppers” and the live action adaptation of “Moana.”
“Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” airs Christmas morning at 10am. EST, 9am CST, 5am MST and PST on ABC. It’ll also stream at 11am EST/8am PST on Disney+ and Hulu.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of this ABC station.
