A masked visitor’s unusual banana-eating stunt at a Texas home prompted a police response and a reminder that pranks can quickly escalate into dangerous encounters.
Doorbell camera footage shows the unidentified individual approaching a residence in Watauga while wearing a mask resembling former President Joe Biden. The person also appeared to be wearing a “FREEDOM” T-shirt similar to apparel linked to Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA.
The visitor brushed a hand across the doorbell camera twice, then ate a banana through the mask before leaving the property.

“The department also reminds the public that behavior perceived as threatening can lead to dangerous confrontations, potentially resulting in serious injury,” police told News Media.
Authorities asked residents who encounter concerning behavior to contact police rather than confronting anyone themselves.
“We also encourage everyone to exercise good judgment and recognize that behavior intended as a joke or prank can sometimes cause unnecessary concern for others,” the department said.
