Stunning Poll: 20% of Americans Think Aliens Walk Among Us

What in the world is going on?

A fascinating new survey reveals that the majority of Americans are convinced that we are not alone in the universe. An astonishing 63% of respondents in a CBS poll, which surveyed over 2,000 individuals, believe that intelligent life exists beyond our planet.

More intriguingly, more than one in five Americans, precisely 21%, are of the opinion that extraterrestrial beings have already made contact with Earth. This poll, conducted earlier this month, highlights a growing belief in the idea of aliens having already visited us.

In the hypothetical scenario of an alien encounter, the survey indicates that the predominant reaction among Americans would be one of curiosity rather than fear. Most would approach such an event with keen interest and wonder, eager to learn more about these potential cosmic visitors.

If a close encounter were to take place, most Americans said they’d greet aliens with more fascination than fear.

Roughly 67% said they’d feel “curious” about meeting extraterrestrials, while 31% said they’d be “scared.”

The alien-friendly response comes shortly after the Trump administration’s release of UFO files last month, which true believers say is proof we’ve already been contacted by alien life.

A total of 84% respondents also said they think the federal government “knows more than it’s telling” us about UFOs, according to the poll.

Three in 10 people, meanwhile, said the UFO document dump made them more likely to believe that aliens have visited Earth.

Overall, 17% of Americans report having personally seen something they believe was a UFO, according to the poll.
