Man arrested in shooting at ABC news station in California

() The Sacramento Police Department said they have a suspect in custody for a shooting at the city’s ABC10 news station.

In a post on social platform X, the department said it had arrested 64-year-old Anibal Hernandezsantana on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building and negligent discharge of a firearm.

Police said a motive for Friday’s shooting is still under investigation and thanked the FBI for providing resources for finding the alleged shooter.

At the time of the shooting, there were people inside the building, but no one was killed or injured, according to police.

Sacramento police are encouraging any witnesses to the crime to contact police at 916-808-5471. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
