Sutton Stracke has issued a mea culpa for the pain she caused her pal Garcelle Beauvais.
The reality TV star from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” aged 53, admitted to causing her former co-star to feel unsupported during the latest season of the popular Bravo show.
During an interview on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live” on Tuesday, Sutton expressed regret, saying, “I’m sorry for that. I would never intend to harm Garcelle, so I apologize for her feeling that way and for how things unfolded.”
The owner of The Sutton Concept store also mentioned her optimism about being able to mend things with Beauvais, aged 58, in the future. She reiterated her desire to give her friend space, echoing what she shared with Page Six recently.
“I think when you’re really close with someone and you get hurt in the relationship, sometimes you need some time away to heal,” she told host Jeff Lewis. “I’m hoping that we can rectify and fix everything.”
Stracke shared that she plans to mend the friendship “down the road” by having a “long, thoughtful conversation that’s private.”
“I just hate that this has happened,” the Bravo star then admitted. “Garcelle was a very good friend and I love her dearly.”
Stracke and Beauvais met on Season 10 of “RHOBH,” when they were both newbies on the reality show.
They formed a close-knit bond, often having each other’s backs during arguments with their other co-stars.
However, on Season 15, Beauvais expressed feeling isolated from the group and that Stracke appeared to prioritize her friendships with the other women.
The actress then announced her exit from the Bravo show following a heated reunion in March — but took the high road by not throwing any of her foes under the bus.
Beauvais — who is mom to Oliver, 34, and twins Jaid and Jax, 17 — instead said via Instagram at the time that one of the reasons she was leaving was for “[her] family … [her] boys.”
However, she then poignantly unfollowed all her former co-stars — including Stracke — on Instagram. She only remained social media pals with Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly, who had smaller roles on the show.
Stracke mentioned on “Jeff Lewis Live,” though, that she and Beauvais spoke after the latter quit, and the Bravo alum told her, “‘I couldn’t talk to anybody because I knew that you would convince me not to leave.’’
The “Housewife” said she then told her friend in response, “Yeah, that’s quite true.”
