A bizarre raid saw a SWAT team arrest four squatters running an illegal strip club out of a suburban Atlanta home – which allegedly had everything from dancers to live horses on the property.

Neighbors were finally able to get authorities to come out to the home at 4951 Wewatta Street in South Fulton after complaining about the nightmare next door.

In addition to the illegal dancers, there were also noisy parties held at the house on weekends and car races, neighbors said.

‘They would get live horses. One day they had live horses,’ an unidentified neighbor said.

The neighbors not only lost sleep but would wake up the next day to piles of trash in front of the home.

They also were annoyed by occasional gunfire going off in the area and the stench of marijuana.

‘It was always something going on in that house,’ one neighbor said.

After levying several complaints, police and the SWAT team finally showed up at the house last Sunday.

An officer said the last straw was a license plate reader discovering a stolen car on the premises. Authorities said they also discovered two stolen cars, a stolen gun, stolen IDs, and credit cards inside the house, according to WSB.

The driver of one of the stolen cars initially refused to come out when pressed by the police before they moved in.

Once officers got inside, they found another stolen car, stolen IDs and even stolen credit cards.

‘There was a stolen weapon that was recovered from the residence,’ added South Fulton Police Captain Derick Rogers.

DeAnthony Maddox, Jeremy Wheat, Kelvin Hall, and Tarahsjay Forde were arrested on the premises.  All four were booked into Fulton County Jail on multiple charges, including several counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

Forde and Maddox have no arrest records but Wheat and Hall have lengthy rap sheets dating back to 1995 and 1986, respectively, according to county records.

Neighbors learned afterward that none of the four men actually lived at the home and were merely squatters.

Police have attempted to prevent any further shenanigans on the premises by repeatedly driving to watch the property.

City Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs, who represents the district, said the city plans to try and pursue action against owners of vacant homes to prevent further criminality.
