Sydney Sweeney has addressed rumors head-on regarding potential plastic surgery or cosmetic enhancements.
The 27-year-old Christy producer-star debunked the notion that she’s had any cosmetic work done in a new interview with Allure.
“I have never had any work done,” Sweeney stated, dispelling the speculation.
“I’m terrified of needles. You can’t compare images of me at 12 years old with those at 26, especially with professional makeup and lighting involved. Naturally, I’ll look different! People on social media are just crazy!” she exclaimed.
The actress, originally from Spokane and now based in Los Angeles, further remarked, “And honestly, if I had any work done, my face would look more symmetrical.”
Sweeney also opened up about a past wakeboarding accident that left her with an injury near her left eye, necessitating 19 stitches.

‘So I feel like it pulls like my eye just a little differently than the other.’
This comes two months after Sweeney told Variety that she plans on ‘aging gracefully.’
The Immaculate producer-star got into hot water last month following her controversial American Eagle campaign, which was accused of pushing Nazi-like eugenics as aspirational.
When GQ asked Sweeney to comment on the scandal, she said: ‘When I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear. I know at the end of the day what that ad was for, and it was great jeans, so it didn’t affect me one way or the other.’
But the Giorgio Armani global brand ambassador finally spoke on the issue last Friday, telling People she’s ‘against hate and divisiveness’ and doesn’t ‘support the views some people chose to connect to the campaign.’
Sweeney is looking for her next major commercial success, as her recent releases — Christy ($2M), Eden ($2.5M), and Americana ($500K) — all bombed at the box office.
