Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Guest Frustrated Over Controversial Wedding Invitation Request

In the lead-up to the highly anticipated wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, one potential guest finds themselves in a predicament, claiming frustration over a lack of a plus-one invitation. This anonymous guest voiced their discontent to the Daily Mail, expressing disbelief at the situation.

“My invitation didn’t include a plus-one,” the guest lamented, highlighting a sense of awkwardness at the thought of attending the event unaccompanied. The guest further mused, “Am I expected to go alone? That’s just uncomfortable. I might skip the event altogether since I probably won’t know many people there. After all, I’m not exactly on a first-name basis with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”

The discontent doesn’t end there, as the guest noted an apparent discrepancy in the invitation policies. They pointed out that while some invitees seem to enjoy the luxury of bringing a companion, they were not afforded the same courtesy for the July 3 celebration in New York City.

“Selena Gomez, for instance, is bringing her husband, Benny Blanco, so she has a plus-one,” the guest continued. “Yet, as a single woman, I’m denied the same privilege.” This perceived inequity has clearly struck a chord, adding another layer of intrigue to the star-studded event.

“I know Selena Gomez is bringing her husband Benny Blanco, so she has a plus-one, but I am not allowed to have a plus-one because I am a single woman,” the guest added.

“I get it, the venue can probably allow for only so many people, but it’s not the best feeling.”

The alleged invitation request was so offensive to the guest, she said she was mulling over ditching the high-profile nuptials.

“It’s the wedding of the year, but I may sit this one out because I am shy,” the guest said of the upcoming event — which will take place at a venue only known to guests that morning.

“I get that too, she doesn’t want everyone knowing where she is getting married until the last minute for security reasons,” the insider said.

“Now it is one big guessing game, everyone is wondering where it will be. Probably a massive hotel like the Waldorf Astoria that has amazing security and access,” they added.

The pop star’s friend said she “loves” Swift, wants “the best” for her and “gets it” — but doesn’t wish to come off like a “major complainer,” per the outlet.

A rep for Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Friday.

The “Cruel Summer” songstress and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, became engaged after two years of dating in a romantic backyard proposal last August.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” they captioned photos from the intimate moment.

An impressive list of celebrity attendees have reportedly already been invited, including Chiefs coach Andy Reid, Gomez and Gigi — who are part of the bridal party — Zoë Kravitz and Graham Norton.

Meanwhile, the Grammy winning singer has been spotted stepping out in bridal white ensembles for recent outings, seemingly teasing the massive event.
