Taylor Swift plans on attending more of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games but is worried she could be a distraction for the team moving forward.

Swift has been at three of Kelce’s last four Chiefs games, including Thursday night’s win over Denver Broncos, since it emerged that she was dating the NFL star.

On each occasion she has been alongside Kelce’s mom Donna and was also seen talking to his dad, Ed, on Thursday.

Kelce appears to see the funny side of the excitement around Swift going to his games. He made a brief cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live in a skit joking about the NFL’s ‘Swiftie Era’, saying ‘yes please’ at the end of a sketch where the mock ‘NFL studio’ of analysts vowed to try and talk more about football than her.

It appears that Swift will be going to more games when she can, but US Weekly claims she is cautious over the impact her presence can have. The publication claims Swift won’t be attending ‘every single game on the schedule’ but is keen to cheer him on more often.

‘Taylor doesn’t want to be a distraction to Travis,’ US Weekly quotes an insider as saying.

‘She knows it’s not easy when she shows up to his games. It’s a spectacle. She wants to support him and strike a balance while, at the same time, not be distracting to the team.’

The next game she could attend is a week on Sunday, back at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs host the Chargers.

There are feasibly only two more games for Swift to get to before her Eras Tour resumes in Buenos Aries on November 9.

A week after the Chargers game, Kelce and his team head to Denver for a rematch with the Broncos on October 29.

Then, they play the Miami Dolphins in Germany on November 5, four days before she plays her first night in Argentina. It would seem unlikely she heads to Europe for that one.

Swift is believed to have stayed in Kansas City until Saturday afternoon with Kelce, before her private jet was seen flying out of Missouri on Saturday afternoon.

And there was a mystery passenger seen boarding the plane shortly before it took off. The person was wearing the new Air Jordans that were released this week, which has been a shoe of choice for Kelce in the past.

Speaking before the Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings last week – the one recent game Swift didn’t go to – Kelce said his romance with Swift had left him feeling on top of the world.

‘As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know – I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world now,’ he said.

‘You have got a lot of people that care about Taylor, for good reason. Got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.

‘We’re learning with the paparazzi taking photos all over the place but it comes with it.’

Kelce played through the pain barrier in front of Swift on Thursday night, after spraining his ankle against the Vikings but impressed again in a 19-8 victory.
