EUFAULA, Ala. (WRBL) — An 18-year-old is in custody after a series of vehicle thefts and high-speed pursuits spanning two cities.

According to the Eufaula Police Department, on October 31, Tywon Jackson allegedly stole a car from a gas station on South Eufaula Avenue. Jackson reportedly drove the stolen vehicle to Montgomery, where a brief police chase took place, but he managed to evade capture.
