Carole Radziwill, previously a member of the Real Housewives Of New York City cast, criticized Ryan Murphy for making what she referred to as a ‘terrible remark’ towards Kennedy descendant Jack Schlossberg amidst their ongoing dispute.
Schlossberg, 32, is the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, whereas Radziwill, 61, shares a connection with the Kennedy family through her marriage to the late Anthony Radziwill, a cousin of the late John F. Kennedy Jr.
Anthony, unfortunately, succumbed to cancer at the age of 40 in August 1999, a month following the plane crash that claimed the lives of JFK Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette, 33, and her sister Lauren Bessette, 34, on July 16, 1999.
Murphy — the TV impresario behind franchises such as Glee and American Horror Story — put off Radziwil with his remarks last week on The This is Gavin Newson podcast.
Murphy, 59, said Schlossberg slamming him over the upcoming series made for an ‘odd choice’ as he felt JFK Jr. was a relative Schlossberg ‘really [didn’t] remember’ — as he was six-years-old at the time of the deadly crash.
Radziwill tagged Murphy’s company into a Threads post in which she said, ‘I knew John, well. What an awful thing to say to Jack.’

She continued: ‘John and my late husband Anthony were Jack’s godfathers, a role they delighted in. Your comments are unkind & hurtful.’
Schlossberg responded to the remarks via his Instagram page last week, addressing Murphy, ‘SAY IT TO MY FACE!’
Schlossberg, a graduate of Harvard Law School, made clear he had a wealth of memories of JFK Jr.
‘My earliest memories are of John calling me Jackolatern and “the nudist,” picking me up from school, his Pontiac convertible,’ Schlossberg said to more than 696,000 followers.
The Ivy League alum continued: ‘I remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died. I remember Wyclef singing at his funeral.
‘More memories are passed down from stories — like the time he locked himself out of a car in an intersection and asked the guy screaming at him if he could borrow a golf club to smash the window to get the keys, and then did it.’
Schlossberg accused Murphy of exploiting JFK Jr.’s legacy for profit.
‘You’re making millions off John, making a public spectacle of it but won’t contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented,’ Schlossberg said.

He added, in an ostensible reference to actor Paul Anthony Kelly, who plays John F. Kennedy Jr. in the limited series, ‘Also odd that the actor playing the sexiest man alive is bloated!’
Schlossberg last month explained his disdain for Murphy’s portrayal of his family.
‘Lately, my news feed has been filled with pictures of my uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., a great man,’ Schlossberg said on Instagram Stories.
He said that ‘for those wondering whether his family was ever consulted, or has anything to do with the new show being made about him, the answer is no, and there’s really not much we can do,’ as the late lawyer and magazine publisher was a public figure.
Schlossberg said he hoped ‘those making this show about him take seriously what he stood for in his life, all that he achieved in it, and that they donate some of the profits [from] what they’re making to the John F. Kennedy Library.’
The cast of the forthcoming Murphy miniseries also includes Naomi Watts as Jackie Kennedy; Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette; Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy; Sydney Lemmon as Lauren Bessette; and Alessandro Nivola as Calvin Klein.
