A former substitute teacher from Texas, along with her boyfriend, faces charges related to inappropriate sexual conduct with a minor and possession of child pornography.
Authorities apprehended 30-year-old Madison Paige Jones in Midlothian on December 19. She is accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child, two instances of indecency with a minor through sexual contact, and possession of child pornography, according to the police.
Jones is currently held in the Ellis County Jail with her bail set at $90,000.

Investigators have clarified that Jones, who worked as a substitute in the Midlothian Independent School District, did not commit the alleged offenses on school grounds or involve any students from the district.
Records from the past year indicate that Jones substituted in the district four times. This included one day at Heritage High School on November 19 and three days at Baxter Elementary on October 28, October 29, and November 3, as confirmed by the district.
The district said it assured families in a letter that it no longer employed Jones after learning of her alleged crimes.
“Our district process for monitoring employee criminal history functioned as intended, and we were notified quickly by the DPS,” Midlothian ISD told CBS News.
“The substitute teacher is no longer employed by MISD, and the district followed its required reporting procedures with the Texas Education Agency.”
Following Jones’s arrest, a second suspect, 37-year-old Zackery Dondlinger, was arrested in connection with the case, Midlothian Police shared in their statement.
Dondlinger was nabbed by authorities in Loving County on Dec. 23 and charged with sexual performance by a child.

He is currently being held at the Winkler County Detention Center awaiting arraignment, police said.
Police said Jones and Dondlinger were in a dating relationship, CBS News reported.
Authorities had not released details about the suspects’ alleged crimes.
The case remains under investigation, police said.
The Midlothian Police Department credited the Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Office of the Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Loving County Sheriff’s Office with helping locate and apprehend Dondlinger.
