A tragic incident unfolded at a high school in Texas, where a 15-year-old student has died following a shooting that targeted a teacher. This unsettling event took place Monday morning at Hill Country College Preparatory High School, located in Bulverde, a suburb north of San Antonio, according to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspected shooter, the teenage student, reportedly inflicted injuries on a teacher before succumbing to his own demise. Local authorities have yet to disclose the circumstances surrounding the student’s death, leaving many questions unanswered.

Following the shooting, the injured teacher was quickly transported to a hospital in San Antonio. However, the authorities have not released any updates regarding her current condition.

The high school was placed on lockdown. Law enforcement officials later said the building had been secured and that students and staff were transported by bus to Bulverde Middle School.

Parents were asked to bring identification to pick up their children. 

Authorities have not identified the teen or the student involved in the shooting.
