In a tragic incident on Saturday morning, three employees at a landscape supply company in Texas were shot and killed, according to local authorities.

San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus addressed the press, stating that while the exact motive behind the shooting remains unclear, it appears to have been a targeted attack rather than a random act of violence.

The shooting took place at the business situated on Stahl Road in San Antonio.

Chief McManus mentioned the possibility of additional individuals being injured, although details were still being confirmed at that time.

McManus later confirmed on social media that the suspect was found “down” with a “self-inflicted” wound following a manhunt. It wasn’t clear if the suspect was dead.

Neither the suspect nor the victims have been identified. The victims were two men and one woman, McManus said.

Following the shooting, SWAT and negotiators with the San Antonio Police Department were at the scene along with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
