A woman in Texas was filmed hurling racist insults at a Hispanic delivery driver, accusing her of being ‘illegal’ and demanding she ‘speak your language back in Mexico’.

A video apparently posted by the victim showed her abuser hurling a series of racially charged insults as the driver sat in her car.

It’s unclear what sparked the nasty run-in, but the clip begins with the woman furiously confronting the driver ‘because you’re an illegal.’

‘You don’t live in Flower Mound and you’re DoorDashing,’ the woman yells, referring to the town located north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

‘You know what, why are you entitled to be here with an illegal car?’

When the driver responds, the woman fires back: ‘No speak English?’

‘Yeah,’ the driver replies.

‘Then speak it… Go speak your language back in Mexico,’ the woman shouts.

In her embarrassing rant, the woman also blames the driver for ‘stealing jobs’ and is seen seemingly taking pictures of the driver’s license plate.

The woman also asks to see the delivery worker’s driver’s license, leading the DoorDasher to ask if she is a police officer.

The clip, originally posted on TikTok, had racked up more than 280,000 views on the platform as of Friday afternoon.

The person who shared the video expressed their dismay over ‘discrimination and hostility’ towards Spanish speakers in the U.S., emphasizing the importance of treating everyone with respect.

A flood of commenters weighed in on the encounter.

‘Why are these people filled with so much hate??’ one wrote.

‘That hate in her heart has probably aged her a good 20 years. All this for what?!’ another added.

Others made fun of the woman’s constant use of the phrase, ‘you know what?’

‘She said you know what so many times and I still don’t know what,’ a commenter joked.

After the video went viral, many scrambled to find the woman’s identity.

The intense scrutiny led to someone claiming to be the woman’s daughter posting a statement disavowing the behavior.

‘I’m sure most of you have seen the horrific video of my mother harassing an innocent civilian sitting in her car. I have been flooded with comments and messages and wanted to address this as fast as possible,’ she wrote.

‘I would like to start off by sincerely apologizing to this woman for having to experience this and for the public having to watch this. I completely and utterly embarrassed and saddened by my mother’s actions and do not condone or support this kind of behavior at all.’

The woman went on to say that she and her mother had not ‘been on speaking terms for quite awhile due to this type of behavior, aggression and her racism towards my Hispanic boyfriend.’

After the clip went viral, a local restaurant owner said he recognized the driver’s car from the clip and let her know that she was welcome in the community.

‘It was a bad look for our town, a bad look for humanity,’ he said in a video posted to Facebook. ‘We love you no matter what race, creed, religion, it doesn’t matter. Flower Mound is a community that is strong and we love you.’

The Daily Mail contacted the woman believed to be shown in the video, as well as the driver, the aggressor’s apparent daughter and DoorDash.
