Clintons celebrated Ghislaine Maxwell AFTER sex crime allegations

Disgraced Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell was celebrated by the Clintons at an exclusive event after sex crime allegations against her emerged.

Despite being deeply involved in the horrifying sex trafficking scandal, Maxwell was honored at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) conference in September 2013, as evidence uncovered by CNN has shown.

Footage and photos from the gala depict Maxwell – who received a 2022 sentence of 20 years in prison for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors – attending the event in representation of the TerraMar Project.

She’d first been linked to convicted pedophile Epstein two years before the Clinton gala, in 2011.

She was seen rubbing elbows and applauding at the event alongside her fellow ‘Commitment to Action’ partners.

Maxwell founded the TerraMar Project, a nonprofit promoting ocean conservation, which disbanded in 2019 after Epstein’s death in a Manhattan prison.

A guest list reviewed by CNN indicated that the sex trafficker was given complimentary access to the conference.

To be given such access, a source familiar with the event said Maxwell was likely personally recommended by Hillary or Bill Clinton.

By 2013, American and British news outlets had already been blasting Maxwell and Epstein about their despicable actions for years.

Maxwell was first publicly accused of sex trafficking in a bombshell 2009 lawsuit filed by victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

Giuffre, who died by suicide in April, detailed the abuse she endured at the hands of billionaire Epstein and how Maxwell was the one who roped her into the sinister scheme when she was just a teenager.

Oddly enough, the Clinton staff had barred Maxwell from events in 2011. It is unclear why she was able to attend the 2013 CGI conference.

A Clinton Foundation representative told CNN more than 600 people attended the event.

‘The decisions on those comps were made, as they have been historically, at the staff level, which included the office of President Clinton,’ the spokesperson said.

They asserted that these newly surfaced unflattering materials do not connect the Clintons with Maxwell.

‘This is about someone working on ocean conservation attending a charitable conference 12 years ago, along with thousands of other people, and nothing more,’ they said.

‘As we have consistently said, the Clintons know nothing about Jeffrey Epstein’s terrible crimes.

‘The TerraMar Project, along with a dozen more organizations, made Commitments to Action to protect the oceans announced in 2013 at a CGI meeting.

‘These were part of more than 4,000 commitments made since 2005.’

This newly revealed detail comes just days after the Department of Justice released a transcript of an interview with Maxwell, conducted in July by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

During the nearly five-hour-long clip, she claims she never witnessed any of the powerful men associated with Epstein – including Donald Trump and Bill Clinton – participating in ‘inappropriate’ behavior.

She touched upon the CGI and her involvement with the prominent nonprofit.

‘I was part of the beginning process of the Clinton Global Initiative, and that was something that I helped with,’ Maxwell told the attorney.

‘And Epstein may have helped me help them. And in that context, he may well have involved himself, but only in the context of something I was trying to do.’

She clarified that she and Epstein, who killed himself in a jail cell in 2019, were ‘very central’ to the formation of CGI.

While it was the Clintons’ idea, Maxwell said she helped bring ‘key personnel’ to to group.
