Liberal media is desperate to create Elon Musk drama

The liberal media is seemingly drawing at straws to create drama surrounding Elon Musk and his relationship with President Trump.

In a recent article by Reuters, the attention was drawn to the alleged tension between Susan Wiles, Trump’s chief of staff, and Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Wiles and her colleagues have apparently felt uninformed as DOGE, led by Musk, takes bold steps to simplify the operations of the federal government by minimizing red tape and downsizing the workforce.

Tensions have seemingly emerged over their working style, as Wiles’ called for more coordination and communication from Musk’s team.

‘We need to message all this. We need to be looped in,’ sources told Reuters.

Nonetheless, Musk, who has gained prominence within Trump’s inner circle, rebutted these allegations by asserting that his team operates with complete openness and clarity.

‘The people voted for major government reform, and that’s what people are going to get,’ said Musk. ‘All of our actions are maximally transparent.’

Sources close to the White House have also called out these claims as ‘complete bull****,’ insisting that any friction has been blown out of proportion.

According to a recent Reuters report, Susan Wiles (pictured) and her team have at times felt out of the loop as Musk's DOGE moves aggressively to streamline the federal government, cutting bureaucracy and reducing the workforce

‘This is a unified team,’ White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Wednesday.

‘Elon Musk is serving at the pleasure of the president, just like everybody else on this team. He takes directives directly from the president of the United States.’

In a letter to Reuters on Friday after the story was published, Leavitt added: ‘This story is complete bullshit from unknown sources who have no idea what they are talking about.’

Meanwhile, in a Valentine’s Day-themed analysis, Politico, which also skews left, suggested that Musk and Trump are destined for a messy breakup, despite their current bromance.

Politico columnist Jonathan Martin has argued that Musk’s wealth and media presence could put him at odds with Trump’s desire to be a ‘one-man play.’

‘The Trump Show is a one-man play…and there’s not room for anybody else, least of all somebody wealthier and with a (nearly) comparable thirst for attention,’ Martin wrote.

In addition to a potential Musk-Trump showdown, Politico also foresees a spat between RFK Jr. and Department of Agriculture Brooke Rollins over his Make American Healthy Again stance and her Big Agriculture backing.

Meanwhile, the piece also mention friction between National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard and CIA chief John Ratcliffe over her previous opposition to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

The news of this supposed tension comes as Musk has been taking a more personal approach to his expanded political role, frequently bringing his children along to high-profile meetings.

At a recent Oval Office news conference, Musk appeared alongside Trump with his four-year-old son.

Musk’s son X joined his father and two of his 10 siblings for a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Thursday, images emerged of the Tesla and SpaceX CEO holding the hands of his son X, four, and daughter Azure, three, as they all headed into Blair House.

His partner Shivon Zilis closely followed the trio, with their child Strider, three, and an army of nannies.

Musk and his son X, full name X Æ A-Xii, pronounced ex-ash-ay-twelve, appeared at the White House alongside President Trump on Tuesday.

Modi is in D.C. to improve relations with Washington and the West, after he refused to condemn Russia for its war in Ukraine. He is staying in Blair House.

During their meeting, the three youngsters surrounded Modi as their father handed him a gift.

As the two talked, Azure could be seen staring at X for a large portion of the meeting, which reportedly revolved around Musk’s company Starlink.

Sources told Reuters that their conversation revolved around Starlink’s long-delayed plans to launch satellite broadband services in India.
